Go ‘Into the Woods’ on campus

Fairytales. A magical world. Wishes granted. This week Perry Theatre will be transformed “Into the Woods,” showcasing the largest cast and crew of any previous spring musical at Aurora University. The free production runs April 13–14 and 18–21.

Love is in the air at Perry Theatre. “Twelfth Night,” a wise, wacky and romantic play, will be presented on the Aurora University campus November 10–11 and 15–18, at 7:30 p.m.

Stage adaptation of Poe classic to premiere at Aurora University


The Aurora University drama department will present the world premiere of Chicago-based playwright Sean Graney’s “Fuller (and Edgar) in the House of Usher,” an adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s 1839 short story “Fall of the House of Usher,” on Friday, Feb. 10 at the school’s new Theatre Studio Lab.

Graduating senior Patricia Liu, a communication major and theatre minor, spent her four years at Aurora University immersing herself in the opportunities that the campus had to offer. Through her involvements, she found a community of friends and the chance to grow and transform as a leader, performer and team player.
