Corey Novotny, AU ’14, always knew he wanted to study abroad, and during his last semester as an undergraduate student at Aurora University, he did just that. Novotny attended the University of Barcelona this past spring through Aurora University’s exchange program.
A commitment to community service and helping others has always been an integral part of the Aurora University identity. As AU students discover what matters most to them, they are building lives around character, scholarship and a desire to make a difference. For senior mathematics and secondary education major Amanda Luesmann, this is certainly true.
More than 100 Spartan women are contributing to another exciting fall season of AU athletics.
On Friday, April 19, graduating Spartan seniors were recognized for their contributions to the Aurora University community, both on and off the playing fields, as they move on to the next chapter of their lives.
As students enjoyed the week off for spring break, two on-campus programs took the opportunity to spend time helping those in need outside their community. The Wackerlin Center for Faith and Action and the men’s soccer program both lead trips to participate in city-wide and international service projects.
