It’s all in the details: Students showcase digital photographs

The Aurora University community is seeing what 12 students have spotted with their digital cameras in the exhibition, “The Art of Observation,” currently on display in Phillips Library. The images, taken in the Introduction to Digital Photography course, explore a range of subject matter and approaches to picture making.

NOLOS isn’t just for English majors anymore, according to Sandra Marchetti, advisor to the Aurora University student-run literary journal. In fact, under her direction over the past year and a half, NOLOS has taken a variety of steps to diversify both its contributor base and its staff.

Stage adaptation of Poe classic to premiere at Aurora University

The Aurora University drama department will present the world premiere of Chicago-based playwright Sean Graney’s “Fuller (and Edgar) in the House of Usher,” an adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s 1839 short story “Fall of the House of Usher,” on Friday, Feb. 10 at the school’s new Theatre Studio Lab.
