During the spring honors convocation, members of the Aurora University Class of 2017 were recognized for excellence in scholarship and citizenship. Will Bradshaw, one of two seniors this year to be presented with the Ethel Tapper Humanities Award, graduated magna cum laude with a major in history. A model student-athlete, he was captain of the university’s lacrosse team for the past three years. He was named an Illinois Regional All-American in 2016, the Spartan defensive player that same year, and was recognized in 2015-2016 as one of the top players in the Midwest Conference. Bradshaw’s leadership at AU included membership in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Student-Athlete Leadership Council.
The Ethel Tapper Humanities Award is presented to seniors majoring in one of the humanities disciplines who demonstrated outstanding academic and creative achievement.
