Aurora University introduces first and only graduate education program in the state focused on students with different academic and language needs

MACI: Teaching Diverse Learners

In response to the growing need for special education and English as a second language educators in Illinois, Aurora University is the first and only institution in the state to offer the Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction: Teaching Diverse Learners degree. Teachers completing the two-year program will earn a master’s degree, including an English as a Second Language (ESL) endorsement and a Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) endorsement.

Aurora University introduces principal preparation program to begin in June 2013

Aurora University announces that the Illinois State Educator Preparation and Licensure Board (SEPLB) approved a 36-semester hour Master of Arts in Education Leadership – Principal Endorsement Program. The program, collaboratively designed by Aurora University and numerous area school districts, will begin in June 2013.
