Aurora University repeated as the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) All-Sports champion in women’s sports and received a second place finish for the title in men’s sports.

Spartan Spotlight: Carly Capesius, ’14

From high school football fields, to university softball diamonds, from the Chicago Marathon to private physical therapy centers, senior Carly Capesius has gained experience in just about every athletic training setting imaginable during her four years at Aurora University. And now, the 2014 recipient of the National Association for Sport and Physical Education Major of the Year Award, is graduating from college with a strong resume and professional connections throughout the Fox Valley.

Aurora University recently launched the Spartan Strength and Conditioning Program, an initiative to assist AU student-athletes with individualized training to help them meet their performance goals.

Successful hockey season prepares team for future NCAA competition


The Aurora University hockey team concluded its 2013-2014 season last week by defeating the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) 9-3 in the final pool play contest of the 2014 American Collegiate Hockey Association National Tournament.
