Aurora University to host Nonprofit Leadership Institute Series panel discussion June 13

AU's Nonprofit Leadership Institute allows professionals to learn about the latest developments in the industry.

The Aurora University School of Business and Public Policy will host the second of its ongoing Nonprofit Leadership Institute Series panel discussions on June 13, 2017, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Aurora University Orchard Center, 2245 Sequoia Drive, in Aurora.

Sarah Radtke, assistant professor in the School of Education and Human Performance, was presented with the Marcus and Mark H. Trumbo Award for Excellence in Teaching during the 2017 undergraduate commencement ceremony. The award is Aurora University’s most prestigious faculty honor.

Aurora University exercise science program offers hands-on training, research opportunities and state-of-the-art equipment

State-of-the-art equipment, research opportunities and hands-on experience are all part of the exercise science program at Aurora University.

Exercise science isn’t something undergraduates can learn just sitting in a classroom. It requires hours of applied, hands-on experience, not to mention familiarity with today’s state-of-the-art anthropometric and metabolic equipment. And it doesn’t hurt for students who are going on to graduate school to have had some real research experience under their belts, either.
