The Tellabs Foundation recently awarded $1 million to develop, house and provide scholarships for a new STEM education program at Aurora University that is targeted at high school students.
The Aurora University community is seeing what 12 students have spotted with their digital cameras in the exhibition, “The Art of Observation,” currently on display in Phillips Library. The images, taken in the Introduction to Digital Photography course, explore a range of subject matter and approaches to picture making.

The Aurora University drama department will present the world premiere of Chicago-based playwright Sean Graney’s “Fuller (and Edgar) in the House of Usher,” an adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s 1839 short story “Fall of the House of Usher,” on Friday, Feb. 10 at the school’s new Theatre Studio Lab.
