Sarah Radtke, assistant professor in the School of Education and Human Performance, was presented with the Marcus and Mark H. Trumbo Award for Excellence in Teaching during the 2017 undergraduate commencement ceremony. The award is Aurora University’s most prestigious faculty honor.
Exercise science isn’t something undergraduates can learn just sitting in a classroom. It requires hours of applied, hands-on experience, not to mention familiarity with today’s state-of-the-art anthropometric and metabolic equipment. And it doesn’t hurt for students who are going on to graduate school to have had some real research experience under their belts, either.

The Schmidgall Family Foundation has awarded $39,600 to Aurora University to provide scholarships so that financially vulnerable high school students can attend the university’s new Michael J. Birck Innovation Engineering Program.
